Sick Day and Exciting News

Hello, all.

Well, it's a really pretty day here. The sun is out, the temperature is on the rise, and it should be a beautiful day.

Except for one tiny problem . . . Twin A, Dear Hubby, and I are all sick.

Twin A has been feverish and vomiting since Monday night, and this morning Hubby and I both woke up not feeling too groovy. And this really stinks, too, because we are supposed to be headed for Tulsa this weekend to hang out with Hubby's folks.

The boys are totally psyched to go (even chose to skip a birthday party to go), there is an important writer's meeting I want to be at Saturday afternoon, my brother-in-law and sister-in-law have a new house and we want to see it, the in-laws laid down new hard-wood floors that I've heard look beautiful, and honestly, we just want to see everybody.

So I hope and pray we are able to fight back the germs and get everyone healthy enough to go.

Plus, a special announcement on behalf of my mother-in-law, Carla Stewart. She has just signed a two-book deal with Hachette (the Christian imprint of Time-Warner) for her novel, A Dandelion Day. The book is set to release in the spring of 2010. The second book, which has not been given an official title yet, will release in spring 2011.

We are all SOOOOOOOO excited for her, and can't wait to read the book.

Wonder if I can get an autographed copy?

Later.

I'm so sorry you're sick--WAAAAA! Hurry up and get better so you can come this weekend.

Thanks for mentioning my book. Busy and exciting days ahead.

Take it easy and kiss the kids if you can do so w/out spreading any more germs.

Love you.
